CONTENT
MPD Coaching bridges the gap between training and effective long-term results. At its core, MPD coaching is a relational partnership. It is walking alongside individuals in a way that builds trust and honors their story. MPD Coaching is about journeying together, helping missionaries move forward with clarity and confidence.
Through thoughtful questions and attentive listening, coaches help people identify underlying issues, grow in self-awareness, and discover a Biblical perspective. MPD coaches can support missionaries in discerning wise next steps within the context of their community and calling.
Throughout this training, we explore how these principles apply to Ministry Partnership Development, equipping participants to journey with others as they build strong and sustainable partnership teams.
Outcomes
Participants will learn coaching core competencies and new MPD-specific coaching tools that, when brought back to their organizations, will help them coach staff to build their support teams faster and more effectively. The training’s focus is on coaching the person, not the problem. This training unlocks deeper insights and fosters sustained growth, equipping coaches to guide staff toward being fully funded and maintaining a positive attitude toward MPD.
Each topic is presented over 2 1/2 days in easy-to-digest modules, allowing you to navigate and revisit content effortlessly. Your presence at all sessions is required.
